![]() Our Center offers you the latest state-of-art high-energy radiation technology for your treatment. The types of radiation therapy available at the Center include radiation as the sole form of therapy, pre-operative radiation to shrink tumors prior to surgery, and post-operative radiation to destroy cells possibly left behind following surgery. In some cases, radiation, along with an anti-tumor drug (given by your medical oncologist), may be used in combination to destroy the cancer. The radiation treatment may be administered by external beam. External beam treatments are done on our facilitys Siemens MXE-2 Linear Accelerator.
